Once the spirit is infused, we recommend storing in the refrigerator and using within 30 days to maintain freshness.
A fine mesh strainer is an inexpensive tool that is simple to use. You can also layer cheesecloth in a funnel as an alternative option.
Specific brands are a matter of personal preference and taste. However, we have found that a mid-price brand of your favorite spirit tends to work best for our infusions. Our blends are designed to enhance the flavors of your spirit, so we suggest choosing a brand that you have previously enjoyed.
We recommend storing away from sunlight for no longer than 6 months.
You can use it however you would like! You can use the infused spirit just as you would in your regular cocktails. One option is to simply pour 1.5 – 2 oz over ice. You can also mix with club soda, sparkling water, lemon-lime soda or even lemonade.
We have found that the flavor can change due to the tannins in the citrus rinds, so we recommend straining after 3 days for the best flavor.
